Public Hearing on new playgrounds at Twin City Park

The Foss Park District has announced that a public meeting will be held in the Foss Park District Community Recreation Center on Monday September 9, 2024 at 6:00 P.M. for the purpose of informing the public of the application for an Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development Grant to improve Hamlet Park. The OSLAD Program is a state-financed grant program that provides funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public parks and open space and is managed by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The plans for future renovation will be discussed. The public will be invited to share their feedback and ideas for the park.
